Become a 4x4 Europe Marathon Master:
With every 4x4 Europe eBook/book you can take part in the marathon and become a marathon master.
General:
We offer the opportunity to take part in the marathon for a region/country. In our books/eBooks there is a marathon place on every off-road route. This marathon place is shown in the book/eBook as an image with a short description. The GPS coordinates of a marathon place are only listed up to the first decimal place in the book/eBook and must be supplemented with the actual GPS coordinates. Since the marathon place is only roughly marked, you should find the marathon place after the photo and then add the GPS coordinates. Each marathon place has a certain value, which we call marathon points. How many marathon points there are for a marathon place depends on the length of the route and the difficulty multiplier. These points are made up of (length of the off-road route) X (marathon factor = overall impression) e.g. 20 km route length x marathon factor 1.5 = 30 marathon points.
Marathon place:
A marathon place is a distinctive object that is located nearby on one of our off-road routes. This object can be a statue, a distinctive house, a monument. Marathon points: For each marathon place visited, you get marathon points depending on the length and difficulty of the route. Goal (marathon master): The goal is to collect as many marathon points as possible for a region/country on our routes and then become a marathon master. 4 × 4 Europe Marathon process:
Step 1:
You drive an off-road route from the 4x4 Europe Roadbook/Book, e.g. Albania, and come to a marathon place. You write the exact GPS coordinates of the respective marathon place in the table on the right
Step 2:
If you have collected at least 75% of the marathon points from this book, you can apply to us for the Marathon Master for 4x4 Albania.https://www.4x4europa.de/de/component/jshopping/product/view/3/34?Itemid=0.
Step 3:
You send us the completed marathon list and, for a processing fee, you will receive a certificate (PDF file) by email to print out and a Marathon Master sticker by post.
Step 4:
If you would like to be on our ranking list on the Internet, you can receive a marathon participant number from us for a one-time registration fee (only required once). This will then put you on our Internet ranking list. https://www.4x4europa.de/de/marathon-master-plazierungen.
